Club Presentation Day 12th of September

tropyWe have booked the Asquith Bowling and Recreation club for our club presentation on Sunday the 12th of September. The club AGM will be held at 2pm to report on club business and election of office bearers for season 2011 we encourage any body that wishes to assist with the running of the club to nominate themselves during the AGM .

Please ensure that all perpetual trophies have been returned to the Canteen ASAP so as arrangements can be made for engraving for this years presentation.

2010 Call to Arms for Cancer Research

We would like everyone to support the Mighty Hornsby –Berowra Eagles Call To Arms effort on Sunday 18th August 2010. Our goal is to raise as much in donations as possible.

The money raised will fund lifesaving cancer research, education programs to reduce the number of men diagnosed with cancer, and support services for men facing tough times. Yellow donation Boxes will be around the ground during training and game day on the 18th. All teams will wear yellow arm bands this weekend in recognition of call to arms Please get behind this very worthy cause.

Canteeen Open for Business Thursday Nights!

The Hornsby Berowra Eagles are pleased to announce that the canteen will be open on Thursday nights at training commencing Thursday 25th March. Once again, hot pies will be on sale (please order ahead on training nights) as well as a good selection of beverages to keep players, parents and supporters happy.

Watch out for future announcements for our new coffee machine soon to be installed!
Remember the canteen will again be opening, as the breakfast and lunch 'venue of choice', during match-days beginning at Round 1 Sunday 18th April 2010!

More 50 Game Milestones for 2010

It has been with great pleasure that I as club president have presented a number of our players with their fifty game milestone medals. The playing of fifty games of football for our club is a major Milestone that is recognised, if you consider that a player play only 15-16 games during a season it may take 3 to 4 years to reach this milestone. I as club president have presented each of the following players with their milestone medals and congratulated each on their individual achievements.

  • Jake Batcheldor
  • Will Jensen
  • Blake Fellew
  • Jordon Smylie

This takes the total of players achieving the 50 game Milestone and receiving medals this year to 8. I look forward to getting around to other players who are fast approaching their individual milestones in the weeks to come.

Again congratulations to all players.
